Already sharing a workshop, Oku Space founders decided to combine their expertise to develop a range of furniture with a strong emphasis on design and quality. Nick Rennie - After completing his studies in industrial design at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Nick formed Nick Rennie Studios (formerly Happy Finish Design) in 2001 with a penchant for simple elegant design.

Dustin Fritsche - A qualified cabinet maker with an associate degree in furniture design. Dustin Started Softer Design Studio in 2017 and designs and makes furniture for domestic and commercial projects in Australia and Internationally.
